This position is based at our new MIHS Maryvale Campus, located at 5102 W Campbell Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85031.
Interviews will commence in early January 2019 and offers will be made post interview.
The facility will be opening in early April, and we anticipate successful candidates will commence in their new roles mid-March, if not earlier, dependent on your new role.

Under the general supervision of the Director of Pharmacy and with guidance from the contracting department, this position provides a full range of procurement and contracting activities in the Department of Pharmacy. This position also oversees staff within assigned area and provides training and education to all staff within Pharmacy on inventory process. Ensures a proper level of pharmaceutical inventory is available at all times.


Requires a Bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work. Must have at least five to seven (5-7) years' experience in procurement and/or contracting with at least one to two (1-2) years of progressively responsible experience in Pharmacy. Ten (10) years of experience in pharmacy procurement and contracting can be substituted in lieu of educational requirement. Must be currently certified nationally as a Pharmacy Technician and licensed with the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy. Requires knowledge of principles and practices of pharmacy procurement and contracting. Must be familiar with pharmacy operations and have working knowledge of establishing and maintaining appropriate pharmacy inventory. Must be able to work within deadlines and be flexible. Able to establish and maintain working relationships with co-workers, vendors and customers. Must have a strong level of skill in Microsoft Word, Excel and other business applications. Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and decision making. Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
