Job Details:
  • The Developmental Coordinator assesses the developmental needs of neonates and their families by assisting in the planning, coordination, teaching and evaluation of the effectiveness of individualized family-centered developmentally supportive care strategies.


    Requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing. Employees with a last hire date prior to October 9, 2016 have until December 31, 2019 to obtain a BSN or higher nursing degree. Requires a minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience in the NICU. Requires completion of NIDCAP training within 18 months of hiring. Must possess a current, valid Arizona RN license and be in good standing with the AZ Board of Nursing. Requires BLS. A BLS card obtained through an approved American Heart Association (AHA) training center is preferred and will be required within 3 months. Must demonstrate effective problem solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills. Requires computer literacy, facilitation skills, ability to handle multiple complex projects, excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management skills, leadership skills, and critical thinking. Must demonstrate compliance of MIHS policies and procedures, standards of care, and documentation in practice. Must be able to work with culturally diverse people.
