Under the guidance of the Director, IT Security and Compliance, this position will be responsible for managing enterprise-wide identity, access, directory and authentication services. The incumbent will manage the staff that supports automated and manual provision and deprovisioning of access to mission critical systems. The position considers topics such as future state planning, assisting with implementation and design of Identity Access Management technologies, automation of manual tasks, identity access governance support and implementation services, privilege access management support and identity life cycle management with respect to regulatory compliance and MIHS approved standards and policies. The position engages key business stakeholders and customers as it relates to all supported systems and applications to verify, validate and audit system access. In addition, this position will be responsible for providing leadership, training, and mentoring to the Identity and Access Management Team. Acts as the expert resource for Identity and Access Management and handles complex issues.
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management of Computer Information Systems or related field; or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work in lieu of degree. Must have minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible Identity and Access Management experience that demonstrates a strong understanding of the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Requires prior supervisory/management experience, preferably in Active Directory Federation Services, Group Policy Objects and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol. System Administration, Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), PowerShell, web services and Extensive Markup Language (XML) experience is a plus. Requires Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Windows Server 2012 or 2016 and Certified Identity and Access Manager certifications within 18 months of accepting the position. Must be able to install, configure, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve problems with Microsoft Active Directory Domain/Forest. Must be able to perform system administrative functions on an enterprise level multi-domain Active Directory domain, including software support functions, patching, organizational unit management, group policies, trust relationships, and tuning. Must be able to apply principles and understand implications of various options available for solving problems. Must demonstrate very highly developed knowledge of the organization, people, products, customers, business processes and information systems. Must use common courtesies when interacting with others; and treat all customers with the utmost respect and has empathy when dealing with difficult customers. Requires the ability to work effectively as a team member both within and across the hospital system. Must be able to communicate with customers in a professional manner to ensure needs are met. Must have the ability to supervise and coordinate the work of subordinate personnel in a manner conducive to full performance and high morale. Must be approachable, people oriented, and a good listener. Must be a change agent able to develop, implement and maintain policies and processes. Requires the ability to be a creative, independent thinker. Must possess solid analytical and problem-solving skills along with the ability to utilize the appropriate management techniques to plan, organize, control and coordinate activities.
