Job Details:
  • The Reimbursement Director is responsible for the oversight and maintenance of a properly functioning reimbursement reporting process throughout the enterprise, across clinical and administrative departments. Critical responsibilities include, development and submission of Medicare Cost Report, and other reports as required by the State or federal government to support AHCCCS, FQHC-LA and other payers; reimbursement audits, ongoing education and communication to revenue generating cost centers and compliance to all regulatory requirements. The Director of Reimbursement serves as a resource to revenue generating cost centers, Finance, Budget and Revenue Cycle departments.


    Requires a Bachelor's preferably in Finance or Accounting, business management or a related field. Master's degree is preferred. Requires five to ten (5-10) year's progressive experience in healthcare financial management. Prefer 3 years experience in reimbursement or audit related maintenance. Knowledge of McKesson TrendStar software application is strongly preferred. Must be able to establish priorities and monitor status of special projects on an ongoing basis. Requires excellent customer services, verbal and written communication and computer skills.
