  • Under the direction of the Manager of Organizational Development this position provides organizational development expertise to administrative teams and decision-makers to influence organization interventions that support the strategic direction of the organization. This position will assist in the planning, development and implementation of organization-wide initiatives and acts as a liaison and strategic advisor to MIHS leadership. Primary responsibilities include developing leaders and staff by providing resources and programs to enhance the cohesiveness of teams and to implement best practices to enhance employee engagement and loyalty.

    • Training / Coaching Certifications (ACC, PCC, Myers Briggs)


    Requires a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related field; or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work. Master's Degree preferred. Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in organizational development that demonstrates a strong understanding of the required knowledge, skills and abilities, preferably in a healthcare environment. Prefer certifications in relevant topics that reflect workshops offered in the field of Organizational Development. Requires knowledge and demonstrated ability to assess, develop, and implement organizational development theories, techniques and resources. Must have ability to develop training materials using adult learning principles and excellent presentation skills, including speaking in front of large groups of people. Must be approachable, people oriented, and a good listener. Must be a change agent able to develop, implement and maintain processes. Requires the ability to be a creative, independent thinker. Must exhibit a high degree of professionalism, customer service, and enthusiasm, combined with the ability to build relationships with business and key stakeholders. Must possess solid analytical and problem-solving skills to plan, organize, control and coordinate activities. Must provide effective communication (verbal, written, and electronic) with the demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and employees at all levels of the organization. Requires computer skills including typing skills and use of Microsoft applications. Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
