  • Job Summary:

    Under the direction of the Manager, Budgets and Financial Reporting, this position will provide financial analysis support to department managers and provide senior management with information on all areas of revenue and costs. This position assists the Manager, Budgets and Financial Reporting and the VP of Finance/Controller with establishing, maintaining and improving all financial reporting systems. The position actively participates in the annual budget process. Additionally, the position performs queries to assist in financial analysis, audit requests, survey preparation and other informational requests. This position will participate in special projects, preparing financial data as necessary.

    Qualifications:

    Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work. Requires two (2) years of data mining and abstracting experience that demonstrates an understanding of the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Prefer healthcare financial and clinical systems experience. Requires a strong knowledge of database programming, data structure, and data sources. Must have working knowledge of reporting and query tools. Must have the ability to analyze data and calculations to determine if reports are accurate. The capacity to anticipate and meet required deadlines mandated by external agencies is required. Must have strong financial and analytical skills. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (including Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel) and have experience in database queries/management and report writing. Excellent communication skills required. Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
